Introduction
YEOYU is a coffee and lifestyle brand that I am co-founder of. The Korean word YEOYU ‘여유’ translates as “remaining” and “enough” put together. The concept is used to describe a state of material, temporal, or spatial sufficiency in which one is able to think or act leisurely and calmly. Using coffee as the vehicle, we are setting out to bring this concept to our audience, to make space and savour ordinary moments. I see this venture as an extension of myself as a designer for software, as our coffee dripper is designed fully with its user in mind - the choice of material, the angles and grooves, and even the weight of the unit has been designed with purpose.
